Do you take insurance?
We do not accept insurance at this time. Counselors at InVia would be considered an out-of-network provider. Many insurance companies give out-of-network reimbursement for mental health services. Please check with your insurance provider about reimbursement and we can provide an itemized receipt of service (superbill) if needed.

The benefits of NOT using insurance are:
Diagnosis: No diagnosis is required for treatment.
Insurance companies require a diagnosis in order to cover therapy services. In many cases, children, adolescents, and young adults do not fit the criteria for mental health diagnoses, but receive a diagnosis anyway.
Confidentiality: Treatment can remain confidential.
In order to utilize insurance for mental health services, insurance companies require a diagnosis which may become part of the child, adolescent, and young adult’s permanent medical record. In addition, insurance companies could have access to some information disclosed during therapy sessions. By not using your insurance, you can avoid any hassle or concern of confidentiality.
Treatment timeline: There is no limit to the length of treatment.
Insurance companies can dictate the length of time for mental health services. If you do not utilize your insurance, you can remain in treatment as long as clinically appropriate.
